Bee Swarm Simulator's King Beetle is one of those bosses most players run into pretty early, and even later on it's still worth fighting for the rewards. He's level 7 with 2,500 health, and if you don't have any defense, his hits can hurt quite a bit. After you beat him, he comes back in 24 hours, or a bit faster if you're using a Gifted Vicious Bee.

You'll find him in King Beetle's Lair, which is tucked behind that light green door between Blue HQ, Blue Flower Field, and Clover Field. The area itself is pretty small and empty, so there's nothing really blocking you or helping you out. It ends up being more about how you move than where you stand. The door also cycles colors, so once you know what to look for, it's actually easier to spot than it sounds.

The fight gets a lot easier once you figure out how he moves. He basically walks toward you, pauses for a second to aim, and then charges. If you stay still just long enough to bait that attack and then move right before he lunges, you can dodge pretty consistently. A lot of players just run along the edge of the lair, stop for a split second, then jump or shift position as he commits to the attack.

Circling him is usually the safest approach. If you keep moving around the outside, your bees can keep attacking while you stay out of trouble. The only thing you really want to avoid is getting too close and taking damage from his aura, so it's better to play it a little safe and keep that small gap.

Your bees make a big difference here. If they're underleveled, they'll miss more, which just drags the fight out. Around 20 to 25 bees at level 7 or higher is generally enough to handle him without too much trouble. Attack-focused bees like Vicious Bee, Lion Bee, Crimson Bee, Cobalt Bee, Rage Bee, Brave Bee, and Precise Bee help speed things up a lot.

Movement and buffs help more than you might expect. Using WASD instead of arrow keys makes it easier to keep him in view while dodging, and anything that boosts speed, attack, or jump can make the fight smoother. During the fight, it's worth grabbing tokens like Rage, Focus, Melody, Haste, and Bear Morph whenever you can. Stuff like the Parachute or Glider can also save you if you mess up a dodge.

The drops are a big reason people keep coming back. You always get 150 Battle Points, plus things like Honey, Royal Jelly, Tickets, and other materials. There's also roughly a 1-in-7 chance to get a King Beetle Amulet. Loot Luck can help with most of the drops, but it doesn't affect the amulet chance, so it really just comes down to fighting him regularly and getting a bit lucky over time.
