Lidt win2k + lidt savage 4 = CRAP!Jeg aner ikke hvorfor at Quake 3 ikke gider at køre med mere end 3-7 fps i win2k med mit savage 4!Jeg har installeret alle de nyeste drivere! Både dem fra creative (kort producenten) og dem fra s3!Jeg ved godt at openGL ikke er understøttet af win2k men man må da alligevel kunne få en eller anden form for openGL der virker med savage 4

HmmHvis du ikke havde brugt Windows 2000 kunne jeg nemt hjælpe dig med at tweake det, men som bekendt er Windows 2000 ikke ligefrem en spilleplatform. Jeg snakker med nogle S3 folk imorgen og finder en løsning til dig. Jeg skal vide din CPU, RAM og hvilket grafikkort det er helt præcist.
UrgFandt denne liste over nuværende problemer under Windows 2000 med Savage 4 (skal lige nævnes at driverne til Windows 9X kører RIGTIG godt - er helt oppe over TNT2 performance nogen steder)
Simply I put in some problems here:
1. Direct3D and OpenGL doesn't support single pass multi-texture.
2. Direct3D texture upload problem..(memory leak)
3. Incorrect texture format for 32bit(even 24bit)
4. Z-buffer sorting error
5. AGP pre-fetch command not correct.
6. OpenGL extension error or missing(some of them..such as GL_KTX_region buffer)
7. OpenGL memory leak(same as direct3D)
8. DirectDraw overlay problem.
9. Some Alpha-blending mode doesn't work or disabled.
10.OpenGL wireframe display corruption under 3DS MAX r2.x, r3.x
11.Direct3D bump mapping error(on 2 pass, 1 pass)(not only on 3dmark2000, if you are
developer, try to write a bump-mapping demo to try it out)
12.Incorrect mip-mapping on both bilinear and trilinear..(I know trilinear doesn't use mip-
mapping, but it still have filter error)
13.2D GUI accelration buggy.
14.Power management (type S1) doesn't send out correct signal to monitor to put monitor
in suspend or standby mode.
